In a recent report concerning the development of catalysis, we can find the following definition: “catalysis is a route for “clean” chemistry and high performance. Without being consumed, a catalyst opens an access to new structures, increases the performances of industry, decreases the energetic cost of the reaction, the consumption of raw materials and the environmental impact of the process by minimizing the production of wastes or by treating emissions and/or other wastes”. 80% of industrial processes involve a catalyst. Catalysis in chemistry, from intermediates to fine chemistry, represents about 25% of the global market.
